Simulated Clay Days

Simulated game shooting, using a clay target, is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to drive game shooting.

This is done utilising sophisticated automatic clay traps placed on the ground similar to that used during game shooting; it is a highly sociable occasion and up to 16 people or more can take part in teams of 8. Teams can alternate loading for each other on alternate drives. This is great for team building for instance or you may simply want to entertain your friends.

The day is treated as a normal shoot day including refreshments and lunch, although you don’t necessarily have to dress up in tweed! It can be done throughout the year, but the spring and summer are usually best to take advantage of the better weather.
