Grouse:   12 August – 10 December

Partridge:   1 September – 1 February

Pheasant:   1 October – 1 February

Duck and Geese:   1 September – 31 January

Woodcock:   1 October – 31 January

 

Deer

Red Deer Stags (Scotland):   1 July – 20 October

Red Deer Hinds (Scotland):   15 October – 15 February

Roe Deer Bucks (Scotland):   1  April – 20 October

Roe Deer Does (Scotland):   21 October – March 31

Roe Deer Bucks (England):   1  April – 31 October

Roe Deer Does (England):   1 November – 31 March

Chinese Water Deer:   1 November – March 31

Sika  Stags England:   1 August – 30 April

Sika Stags Scotland:   1 July – 20 October

Sika Hinds England:   1 November – 31 March

Sika Hinds Scotland:   21 October – 15 February
